East Hook July 8th

During a Skomer MCZ fish survey 3 volunteers divers came across a single lobster pot with a detached rope lying on the seabed. It looked like the pot was being used as a single deployment and not part of a larger string. From the number of dead and trapped shellfish and the amount of shell carcasses and debris underneath the pot it is likely that it had been ghost fishing for sometime.
